I could not find any references in any of the following dead-tree and online dictionaries / glossaries that I usually consult for slang words. Comment		If that's so interesting, jomakur, why don't you start a web page on the subject? The word DOES exist but it seems like no-one in this thread has bothered to read the descriptions of "Belege" etc. So instead of adding juvenile "yeah, man, it exists like" comments, you guys could maybe find out how to make _constructive_ and _helpful_ postings that don't waste everyone's time?

Comment		I would support adding this only with a RARE or maybe nerd-only tag. I'm a member of Something Awful, and the term was popularized there after being taken from the webcomic "Sexy Losers". However, having it just as so is going to confuse any Germans, who in all seriousness want to know what the best übersetzung for wichsen is.

Comment		Es ist ein neuartiger Internetslangbegriff, der nichtmal in englisch sprechenden Ländern besonders bekannt ist, insofern wäre der einzige Sinn, dies hier hinzuzufügen, um Deutschen die Bedeutung des Begriffes zu lehren, nicht aber umgekehrt oder gar um als valide Übersetzung für 'wichsen' zu dienen.

Comment		Verbreiteter Internetslang., vgl. LOL, fail, etc. Dass sich das Wort (noch?) nicht in Wörterbüchern auf totem Baum findet liegt einfach an deren Updatezyklus. LEO als Onlinemedium kann hier schneller reagieren. Daher Aufnehmen und als [Internetslang] kennzeichnen. Leider kann ich grad nicht mehr Belege liefern, denn 90% der google-treffer wären garantiert NSFW (<-- das fehlt ja auch noch...)
